The Nourish Fund

Did you know BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) are significantly less likely to receive help for their eating issues than their white counterparts? This inequity exists for many reasons related to systemic oppression and the intersections of race and class. But nutrition counseling shouldn’t be a privilege, it should be a right.

As one small step towards helping make counseling more accessible, we are aiming to fundraise through donations that will be used to FULLY subsidize sessions specifically for BIPOC clients in need of nutrition counseling who would not otherwise be able to afford services.

If you are a prospective BIPOC client experiencing financial barriers to nutrition counseling services and are interested in applying to our scholarship, please contact us for more information and specific eligibility criteria: info@thenourishcenter.com.
